Good news. Delicious is alive and well. You can thank the founders of YouTube for not letting it go away. The bookmarking service used by millions worldwide will be in transition mode until July.
Steve Chen and Chad Hurley of the AVOS group, purchased Delicious from Yahoo! last week. Terms and price of the acquisition were not disclosed.
AVOS is attempting to improve on Delicious to make it a top visited website for information discovery. They plan on developing a much needed Firefox 4 plugin in the interim and make it their first priority. Looking forward to that.
